Ali Görmez

His work draws on neo-pop art, street art and collage, and stands out for intense color, expressive forms and an immediate visual language. He takes cues from artists such as Keith Haring, James Rizzi and Picasso and develops them, in acrylic, oil and mixed media, into an artistic universe of his own.

Görmez became widely known for the “Eddies,” sculptural peace symbols found in public spaces around the world, and for “Focky,” a simple, reduced duck figure that stands for mindfulness and calm.

His art is in demand internationally, has been part of significant exhibitions and is an established presence in private and public collections.

Alongside his artistic work, Ali Görmez is strongly committed to social causes. In creative projects with children, schools and companies, he conveys themes such as diversity, mindfulness and teamwork. Through his workshops and regular donations to children’s aid organizations, he combines artistic vision with social responsibility and shows that art can be a medium for inspiration and change.
