Visual Description

On the natural-toned painting board, Focky appears head-on. The strong orange beak fills the lower part and is emphasized by clear black contours and a light edge. Above it sits the typical single eye, set in a sand-colored head where small pictorial signs flourish: green and petrol hearts, an orange butterfly, leaves, dots and lines that grow upward like plant stems.

Colorfully striped “feelers” or strands of hair appear along the top edge. Curved white lines wrap around the sides of the figure and suggest movement – as if Focky were nodding eagerly. The neck runs into a column of green, gray and orange circles and segments.

Artistic Interpretation

“Focky 14” is Focky tuned to the frequency of nature and the heart. The large eye stands for alert perception, this time directed at living things: hearts, leaves, a butterfly – symbols of love, growth and transformation. A small garden seems to be taking shape inside the figure’s head: thoughts in the form of plants, emotions as colorful organic shapes.

The orange beak brings warmth and humor, while the sweeping lines suggest a light, almost dancing movement. The work speaks of a focus directed not only inward but also at what surrounds us – a loving, nature-connected view of the world.

Art-Historical Context

“Focky 14” belongs to the field of urban pop, neo-pop and contemporary comic art. The stylized duck figure, flat color, clear outlines and the interplay of symbols (hearts, butterfly, leaves) recall street art, graffiti and contemporary illustration.

At the same time, Ali Görmez continues the tradition of iconic pop figures but transforms it into a character world of his own, in which Focky serves as a projection surface for themes such as mindfulness, connection to nature and emotion.

Exclusivity

“Focky 14 – November 2025 Edition” belongs to a limited edition of hand-painted boards. Each piece is worked out as an acrylic original in its own right, with an individual arrangement of hearts, leaves, dots and colors, and is signed by Ali Görmez. Within the edition, this motif plays the role of the “Nature & Love Focky” – with a clear emphasis on organic forms and warm accents of color.

Collector Value

The work makes an excellent colorful focal point in homes, practices or workspaces that call for an image of lightness, closeness to nature and warmth of heart. Hung together with other Focky works, “Focky 14” brings a soft, playful counterpoint to the series.

The square 20 × 20 cm format makes it easy to integrate into gallery walls and art walls; the signal color orange keeps the picture present despite its size.
