Visual Description

More About the Artist

Ali Görmez, born in Bielefeld in 1980, lives and works in Berlin. His visual language brings together Pop Art, urban contemporary art and figurative character painting. From early cartoon drawings and influences such as Keith Haring, James Rizzi and Picasso, he developed iconic characters like “The Eddies” and “Focky the Duck.”

With clear lines, bold colors and strongly symbolic motifs, he brings themes such as Love, Peace & Art, focus, self-confidence and inner strength into a contemporary visual world.
