Stier Taurus

Visual Description

A powerful bull emerges from a glowing cloud of dust and fire that springs from a gilded planet Venus. Intense swirls of color meet dark depths; fine collage fragments from old book pages with nature motifs, the Venus symbol and constellation markings set accents. A discreet dollar sign flashes up as a sign of earthly prosperity.

Artistic Interpretation

As a sign ruled by Venus, Taurus stands for self-love, self-worth, sensuality and the capacity for pleasure. Born from the planet, the bull embodies cycles of growth and renewal. The dollar sign extends the mythological layer with the idea of material abundance – pleasure and prosperity as two sides of the same Venus energy. The work invites viewers to cultivate abundance consciously.

Art-Historical Context

Mythological symbolism meets contemporary mixed-media collage: gold leaf recalls sacred pictorial traditions, while signs, lettering and collage elements place the work in a modern, urban iconography. The result bridges Symbolism, pop and urban echoes, and large-scale gesture.

Exclusivity

A monumental original with gilded passages, a richly layered build-up of color and material, and painted edges. The professional cross-braced stretcher provides stability – well suited to long-term hanging in representative spaces.

Collector Value

As a signature piece, “Stier Taurus” unites spiritual symbolism and worldly prosperity – a theme of timeless resonance. Its large format, gold-leaf highlights and strong impact from a distance make it an anchor work for meeting rooms, lobbies and collections with architectural ambitions.
