Schulterblick

Visual Description

Monochrome lines, drawn by letting the paint drip, shape an expressive portrait of a woman. The right half of the picture is graphically dense, while the left stays open and airy. A Tweety, painted in color, sits on her shoulder – a small, bright counterpoint in a field of black and white.

Artistic Interpretation

“Schulterblick” stands for a brave and grateful look back: past decisions are not judged but recognized as what paved the way. Tweety embodies optimism – a look ahead toward a colorful future nourished by experience.

Art-Historical Context

The drip and action-painting quality meets pop and urban art through the cartoon motif. The tension between monochrome figuration and a colored icon places the work in a contemporary visual language between gesture and pop culture.

Exclusivity

A one-of-a-kind original made consistently in drip technique, without brushes, with a striking black-and-white aesthetic and a single colored accent. The square format with a 4 cm stretcher depth feels compact and present.

Collector Value

A conversation piece that brings together biography, reflection and a pop reference – for collectors who value graphic strength and iconic detail.
