Visual Description

A luminous yellow-green spreads out like a field in bloom. Serial arcs pulling downward form dense vertical bands; above them lies a cool gray sky that heightens the radiance of the yellow even further. The surface is impasto, almost like a relief.

Rapsfeld translates growth, expanse and seasonal abundance into rhythmic gestures. The vibrant yellow evokes warmth and sound, the repeated arcs the wind passing over stalks. Between an image of nature and a sign, a meditative pulse of energy and calm emerges.
