Visual Description

A vibrating field of yellows, reds, greens and blacks explodes across the white surface. Drips, splatters and layers flowing into one another form a powerful center in which a bright blue point is circled by white lines—like a pulsing core amid turbulent currents.

Artistic Interpretation

“The blue point” brings together energy, chance and deliberate placement. The blue core acts as a point of calm and a sign of origin—a focus around which movement, friction and resonance organize themselves. The work invites us to read rhythm, breath and resistance in the picture as metaphors for the dynamics of life.

Art-Historical Context

The all-over composition, drips and gestures refer to Abstract Expressionism and Action Painting; at the same time, the physical trace of the hand recalls Tachisme. The clear chromatic focus on a blue center updates this tradition into a contemporary, urban visual language.

Exclusivity

A one-of-a-kind work with multilayered oil paint, dynamic lines and a tense composition. The high-contrast blue focus within the warm explosion of color defines the work’s unmistakable signature and presence.

Collector Value

A compact statement piece for spaces seeking energy and visual depth—ideal for studios, offices, foyers and living areas. In series hangings with other gestural works, it forms a powerful, contemporary ensemble.
